dBWaves releases a new utility to predict environmental noise
dBWaves is pleased to announce our new utility for noise predictions online, based on ISO-9613 "Attenuation of sound during propagation outdoors".
Some special features:
- Calculation of noise levels at several discrete receiver positions, including the contribution of each individual source.
- The calculation module considers the effect of geometric divergence, atmospheric absorption, ground effect and diffraction from noise barriers and buildings.
- Simple and intuitive GUI that allows users to create a new project by overlaying elements such as sources, receiver points, noise barriers and buildings on a map taken directly from Google Maps.
- Users can optionally save and print reports and maps, including 2D and 3D views of the model. With a full interactive 3D model embedded into the pdf report.
- As always, dBWaves offers the possibility to create and manage your own database of sources and projects, available at any time and from anywhere via internet.
- Optimize your resources. Pay for the calculations you run and NOT for expensive licenses.
